The Pulley Ridge Deep Drop Series features a proprietary Witch Doctor ALPS bent butt, curved to 75 degrees to provide the optimal horizontal angle for deep-dropping. Built with a graphite glass blended blank, this rod delivers the ideal tip action to detect even the slightest bites while maintaining enough strength to keep the trophies hooked.

Excellent rod that does what it is designed to do. We were deep dropping in 1,100 feet of water for golden tiles in the GOA. There were eight other fisherman on the boat using much shorter and less sensitive rods and they were basically fishing blind- forced to drop to the bottom and wait 15 to 20 minutes before retrieving to see if there was a fish on because they could not see the subtle bites in water that deep. With the Pulley Ridge Special I dropped to the bottom and several times saw an instant bite and immediately retrieved the fish. Because I wasn’t fishing blind like the others, I ended up catching 9 of the 32 golden tiles caught by the boat and a couple hakes as a bonus. This is an awesome rod.
